This was the scene I wanted to capture (straight from the story):
Summary: (fic excerpt) They ended up with Harry sitting between Severus' legs, resting back against his chest. As they watched the rest of the sunrise, Severus poked once at the knot with his branch to quell the stirring of the stymied Willow.
Letting out a breath, Severus let his eyes drift in the direction of Hogsmeade. Without a trace of anxiety, he asked Harry quietly, "What will we do?"
Smiling, Harry looked in the same direction, then back to Severus. "It'll come to us."
I adored the image of weary Harry, having just battled the castle as Severus' champion. And Severus clinging onto him, not quite believing he is now released. Thanks for the great inspiration, RaeWhit!

SPOILER ALERT! If you haven't read "Down the Rabbit Hole" by Raewhit, skeddale over to her page here on WTP and get to reading! I don't want to spoil the ending for you, since I decided to illustrate the last scene of the story. (And if you yell at me for spoiling it for you, I might cry. I'm a complete Hufflepuff that way).
It was my very favorite story from this year's Snarry Games (although I've lost count on how many tied for a close second....I gobbled up all the stories and enjoyed them all) and this image became glued inside my brain and begged to come out. This is also my first ever Snarry picture. I've been illustraing HP for months, and decided it was time to illustrate my new fanfic obsession (Snarry).
Done with Photoshop CS3 and a graphic tablet.
